An 11-day loop through four of Ghana's defining regions: Accra's Pan-African landmarks and Osu's food-and-nightlife strip, the waterfall and lake country of the Volta Region, the royal craft villages of the Ashanti Kingdom, and the UNESCO castles of the Cape Coast. You'll cruise Lake Volta on the Dodi Princess, hike to the base of Wli Falls — the tallest waterfall in West Africa — sit with a weaver in Bonwire where the Asantehene's kente is still made by hand, and walk the Door of No Return at both Cape Coast and Elmina. It closes with a family blessing ceremony: an elder, libation, drumming, kente — sent off, not just checked out.
